Tailoring play to children’s individual needs

Join us for this interesting coffee morning to find out how to enable positive play opportunities that enhance your child’s development.
Bring your children along for a Free play based learning activities which focus on the teaching of literacy and communication.
Children can play for 2 hours in their age appropriate class: Caterpillars (age 1-2 years), Honeybees (age 2-3 years) and Ladybugs (age 3-4 years).
In September 2017, IDEA will be opening its first KG school classes for children age 4-6 years.
There will be an informative presentation led by IDEA Early Learning Center Founding Director Ashleigh Thomson and will focus on the ways in which you can encourage your child to make progress across all areas of the curriculum:
· Messy Play
· Social and Emotional Role-Play
· Literacy Play
· Discovery Play
Ashleigh has several years’ experience in school and early years settings. In the UK she led a large Foundation Stage team and following her department’s ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted inspection, she was asked to work with many others pre-schools and primary schools through the Local Authority. Ashleigh’s background is in the effective teaching of Literacy for which specialized her studies during her degree, post graduate certificate and her masters. In September 2016, working closely with the KHDA, Ashleigh opened IDEA Early Learning Center for children aged 1-6 years in the Victory Heights Community, Sports City.
If you are unable to redeem your play session on the day of the event, IDEA can arrange for you to redeem a free of charge session in the center, at your convenience. Simply email firstname.lastname@example.org and reference ‘Moms Middle East’.
